PRESS MANAGER

We are delighted to announce we have a vacancy for a Press Manager to join our Public Affairs and Policy team.

To succeed in this position, you should have excellent writing skills and be a confident speaker. Additionally, you’ll have experience in messaging and the media, along with excellent organisational skills and an ability to work to often very tight deadlines.

COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING INTERN

We are looking for a social media-savvy individual with a flair for writing engaging and inspiring copy, who is experienced with design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop.

The role is perfect for someone at the beginning of a new career. The successful candidate will have room to learn, develop, and gain invaluable experience in a busy and fast-moving charity communications  environment, all the while furthering our mission of a tolerant society where rational thinking and kindness prevail.

HUMANIST CEREMONIES MARKETING OFFICER

We’re looking to recruit a Marketing Officer who can help generate public awareness of our non-religious, humanist funerals, weddings, and namings. Our ideal candidate will have experience in planning and executing B2B and B2C marketing strategies, commissioning new materials, running multi-channel marketing campaigns, and writing engaging and inspiring copy.

EDUCATION COORDINATOR

Have an interest in the Education sector? We are looking to recruit an Education coordinator to support the Head of Education with education resources on humanism including the coordination of the development and production of Humanists UK MOOC on humanism.

This is a fixed term contract for 22 weeks on a part-time basis of three days per week. We are happy to accept applications for an alternate working pattern, full time for example. If your preference is for an alternate working practice please state this when applying.

ASSISTED DYING CAMPAIGNER

This is a unique opportunity to work in a shared role for Humanists UK and My Death, My Decision (MDMD). The role holder will be MDMD’s Campaigns and Communications Manager and Humanists UK’s Assisted Dying Campaigner.

The role holder will be committed to the campaigning aims of MDMD and the Assisted Dying aims of Humanists UK.
