Over 19-21 June 2015, the gorgeous and historic city of Bristol will play host to over 400 happy humanists over a busy weekend of lectures, plenaries, debates, interviews, an awards show, live entertainment, and a gala dinner with a cast of amazing speakers from the worlds of entertainment, science, history, philosophy, and the arts.

Standard (non-dining) tickets cost:

  • £89 for students

Given the speed at which World Humanist Congress tickets sold out last year, we would urge anyone interested in going to purchase their tickets as early as possible.

Discounted accommodation is available to BHA Conference guests through three hotel partners in Bristol. To take advantage of this opportunity while spaces remain, please go to the special BHA Annual Conference accommodation portal, kindly provided by VisitBristol.

You are also free to make other arrangements for your stay in Bristol, including local hostels and B&Bs.


Bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to 90 days (19 March) prior to the Conference start date. Bookings cancelled 60-89 days (by 18 April) from the start date will incur a 50% charge. This is to cover costs that the British Humanist Association (BHA) will have committed to paying for your space at the Conference. Cancellation within 60 days (from 18 April) of the Conference start date will be charged in full. Refunds for ticket cancellations will be made within two months. If you cannot make Conference but are able to find a friend to take your ticket, this can be authorised with us prior to seven days before the Conference (12 June). This is so we can have accurate numbers and delegate information to meet our legal requirements as Conference hosts.
