The BHA Annual Conference is always the can’t-miss humanist calendar event of the year, and 2015's will be no different. Over 19-21 June 2015, the beautiful city of Bristol will play host to 300 happy humanists over a busy weekend of lectures, plenaries, debates, interviews, an awards show, live entertainment, and a gala dinner featuring big names including physicist Professor Jim Al-Khalili, anatomist Professor Alice Roberts, and historian Professor Francesca Stavrakopoulou, and several as-yet-unannounced special guests.
The conference will run from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon in the heart of Bristol’s historic Old Town.
We've done everything we can to make this year's Conference as affordable as it can possibly be.
Standard (non-dining) tickets cost:
- £99 for BHA members,
- £129 for non-members,
- £89 for students
Dining tickets will cost an extra £40, bringing prices to £139, £169, and £129 for members, non-members, and students respectively, and will entitle guests to attend the fantastic Gala dinner event where Professor Alice Roberts will be speaking, and where we will announce the winner of the 2015 BHA Humanist of the Year and Services to Humanism awards.
All tickets include a buffet lunch on Saturday.
Given the speed at which World Humanist Congress tickets sold out last year, we would urge anyone interested in going in purchasng their tickets as early as possible.
Our confirmed speakers are:
- Professor Jim Al-Khalili
- Professor Alice Roberts
- Professor Francesca Stavrakopoulou
- Leo Igwe
- and Professor Tim Whitmarsh
We will update this list as more speakers are announced in addition to trailing the announcements using social media, our eBulletin, and BHA News.
We will be providing a link to a special portal for purchasing space in nearby hotels very shortly and will distribute this to all ticket-holders, as well as anyone who has pre-registered, as soon as this is live and ready for use. Alternatively, you can book your own accomodation.
