Join Young Humanists for a discussion about humanist approaches to death on Thursday 13 August at 19:30.
Mark Adams is a funeral celebrant, accredited by Humanists UK. He offers meaningful, bespoke, non-religious funeral ceremonies for the families of anyone who has died, regardless of their background.
Mark will lead an interactive discussion on how humanists approach death, how this might differ from approaches taken by non-humanists, and how an awareness of our own mortality informs humanists’ approaches to the one life we have. He will also discuss what humanist funerals consist of and how humanists can remember their loved ones in a personalised, meaningful way.
Reserve a space for you and your household. We will be using Google Meet and a link will be emailed to you ahead of the event.
All are welcome to attend and there will be plenty of opportunities to put your questions to Mark, as well as chatting with fellow attendees.
