Apostate Social + Tour (Time and Space through the ages)

Registration is closed for this event
November 2nd, 2019 12:30   --   16:00

Join us for our Apostate Winter Social preceded by an optional guided tour led by our committee member Ste Richardsson.

This is an excellent opportunity to meet and chat with like-minded people; share ideas, talk religion, history, exchange stories, and socialise. Newcomers are especially welcome. You do not have to have left religion to join us!

We know how isolating and confusing it can be to leave a faith. Events like this are a fantastic way to meet new people in a relaxed and exciting setting. Whether your background was Muslim, Jehovah’s Witness, Jewish, Hindu, or Christian, everyone is welcome.

The tour will discuss different views of time, space and the earth over the years and how we came to a scientific understanding of the reality.

Schedule

  • 12:30 Meet at the Stature of General James Wolfe on top of Greenwich Park Hill.
  • 12:45 ’Views of Time and Space through the Ages’ guided tour led by Ste Richardsson.
  • 14:30 – 16:00 Social in The Pavillion Cafe (behind the Statue of General. James Wolfe, 2 minutes walk).

Thanks to our supporters, this is a free event.
