Belonging and community without religion

January 19th, 2019 09:30   --   17:00

Join Humanists UK, Sunday Assembly, and New Unity Unitarian Church for a very special event at the start of the year exploring how non-religious people can come together to forge community ties and bonds in the context of an increasingly non-religious society.

Together we'll explore questions like
- What is community? Why does it matter? What does it feel like to be part of one, or not?

- Is storytelling central to the experience of forging community? What role do stories play in the lives of the non-religious?

Join us on Saturday 19th January 2019 to explore these questions, think for yourself, shape your own views, and connect with others who are interested in the answers, in discussion led by expert speakers.

The ideas and answers that emerge from the conference will be part of shaping our future communities - come along, and help us to champion ideas for the one life we have.
