Young Humanists Parliamentary Reception

Registration is closed for this event
May 15th, 2019 18:30   --   20:00

Join Young Humanists for a special event bringing together a new generation of humanist change-makers in the Houses of Parliament. With the support of Crispin Blunt MP, we’ve secured a prestigious venue, the Attlee Suite in Portcullis House, for this fantastic opportunity to network with young activists and volunteers, and to learn more about the vital campaigning work humanists are doing in the UK and worldwide.

We’ve teamed up with members of the All Party Parliamentary Humanist Group from across the political spectrum to discuss the most pressing issues humanists face today.

As well as getting to hear from humanists of all political leanings, we’ve invited along like-minded campaigning organisations we’ve been working with. You’ll get the chance to network with them, as well as your fellow guests, over a glass of wine.

The event is free to attend but booking is essential. You might not be a humanist but we’re sure you share some, if not all, of our values. Join us at this reception if you want to celebrate those campaigning for a kinder, more tolerant world.

The reception starts at 18:30 and we expect the evening to finish at 20:00. After the reception is over, we’ll decant to The Admiralty (66 Trafalgar Square, London, WC2N 5DS) to continue chatting in a more informal environment.
