Freedom from religion is just as important a right as freedom of religion. Unfortunately, this right is not afforded to everyone, and for some people in Britain leaving their religion can  complicated, challenging, and dangerous process.

Apostates can bring shame and dishonour to a family, and as a result apostates often experience emotional and physical abuse. Faith to Faithless works with people who have left any religion or cult including ex-Evangelical Christians, ex-Ultra-Orthodox Jews, ex-Muslims, ex-Jehovah's Witnesses, and others.

This event will be led by Imtiaz Shams, co-founder of Faith to Faithless. Having experienced difficulty leaving Islam, he set up the organisation to raise awareness of apostasy in the UK and provide support to others leaving religion.

There will be an opportunity for Q&A.
