Young Humanists is the section of Humanists UK for 18–35 year olds.

On Thursday 8 February, Humanists UK hosts the Darwin Day Lecture 2018. Before you settle down for a fascinating talk on the evolution of human morality, why not join us for a drink or a bite to eat? Young Humanists have space booked at the Friend at Hand pub, just a few minutes’ walk away from the lecture hall, from 17:30 until 19:00. This is a great chance to meet other young humanists and to get to know the Young Humanists team.

We’ve also managed to bag ourselves some of the best seats in the house for the lecture. To reserve one of these seats, join us at the pub, and let us know you’re coming by registering on this page. Young Humanists is the section for Humanists UK members and supporters aged 18–35.

This year's lecture will be delivered by Dr Diana Fleischman. An evolutionary psychologist at the University of Portsmouth, Diana’s work focuses on developing a better understanding of what it means to be human, including the biology and psychology of topics such as sexuality, disease, and disgust. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the Darwin Day Lecture webpage.
