AHSAGM-114

Official AGM business

Every affiliated AHS society has two votes allocated to them for AGM business. These are allocated by default to the President/Chair and the AHS Representative, however, other committee members may vote on their behalf. They make up the Caucus, the decision-making body of the AHS.

Any student can submit a motion or run for Executive position the AGM:
  • IMPORTANT - Those who wish to submit a motion for discussion at the AGM must do so by 12 June to exec@ahsstudents.org.uk. It must be seconded by a member of the Caucus.
  • IMPORTANT - Those who are running for Executive positions and would like their manifesto distributed to the Caucus must also submit it by 12 June. Candidates may also run on the day.

Workshops

There will be a selection of training workshops for the society members to take part in, on a variety of topics, to help society members to grow their societies, and prepare new committee members for their roles, as requested in the feedback forms from the Convention and the Society Training Day.
