National events

Every year we hold two special events for our student members.

At these events you’ll get to know other humanist students and other people who are involved with the Humanist movement across the UK. You’ll get the chance to hear from a diverse range of speakers. We’ll also help you to develop the skills you need to talk about Humanism on campus.

The dates of the next events are below.

You can also advertise your own events on this page and we’ll support you to the spread the word.

Humanist Students – Building our community

The first of two Humanist Students’ events of the year Humanist Students – Building our community takes place on Saturday 14th April – Sunday 15th April in London. This exciting event will be the first of many events bringing together our student members. At Building our community we’ll be capitalising on the momentum and progress we’ve made as Humanist Students with over 700 new members in 119 universities across the UK, to explore what community means to non-religious students and how we can come together as to make sure our voice is heard on campuses and beyond.

The event is completely free but you have to be a student member to attend, if you haven’t signed up for membership yet you can do that here.

Registration is now open. Get your free ticket here. For more details please check the Joining Instructions and the full Programme.

Humanist Students Training Event

The second national event of the year will take place on Saturday 14th July and looks to go beyond building a community on campus and to look in depth into how communities of Humanists at UK universities can create local and national change.
