Donating in memory

Making a donation in memory of a loved one

When someone dies, we often give flowers, but many families and friends suggest that donations in memory be sent to a charity he or she supported during their life.

If you would like to make a gift in memory of the person you love, you can either arrange a gift in memory through the funeral director, or send your personal donation, or a collection in their memory, to Humanists UK at 39 Moreland Street, London, EC1V 8BB .

If you would like Humanists UK to receive in memory donations when you die, it may be helpful to inform your executor by printing out and completing this Donation in memory form and keeping it with your will.

Do not attach anything to your will as this may invalidate it, and do remember that your will may not be read until after your funeral – your family or your executor need to be aware of your wishes before you die.
