Human beings are social animals, and we often feel the need to get together to find support, learn new things, meet new people, and work together for a common cause. Very often we just want to get together to relax and have fun with like-minded people.

Humanists UK has groups around the country providing a range of events and activities in your communities. Humanist groups have a variety of activities, and give you the opportunities for:

• Meeting and socialising with like minded people, as well as promoting humanism in your local community.
• Campaigning on humanist issues, as well as learning, exchanging ideas, and debating issues.
• Representing humanist views in local decision making and volunteering and engaging in our social action.

Local Groups

Humanists UK Local Groups are communities organised by a local team of Humanists UK volunteers. These groups are a part of Humanists UK. They bring non-religious people together to be happier and more fulfilled and to be a force for good in their communities.
